Good morning to all. Hope you are having a blessed and wonderful week. Just a quick post before I get the day started. This evening the Oak Ridge Wildcats will be featured on my-VLT, channel 98 in East Tennessee as we go on our first road game against the Powell Panthers. They are noted to be the top 5 in the 5A Division of TN and are predicted to win our district. Last year they got the best of us, jumping on our mistakes early, capitalizing and winning pretty easy. This year, we are more experienced, as are they and we are looking for a better performance from our team and a much better game. The game has been so hyped up that we have gotten the tag of "Game of the Week" on Thursday Night Lights. We are excited and our kids are too and it should be a fun one.
This week in school has been a short one with Labor Day on Monday, but all week rain from the hurricane has made the last 3 days seem very slow. Students feel like they don't wanna learn, teachers lacking enthusiasm and just a bunch of reasons to be sluggish. As it is, I have persevered and looking to end up the weekend on a high note. We practiced all week inside and got out for a bit yesterday. My students are coming around and starting to form to the planet of Mr. Rosser in class, LOL.
Anyways, time to hit the road, eat a good breakfast with PT and some of the players before gameday starts. If you get a chance check out the links on the bottom. There is this film guy that has been doing little segments on our team each week from the game. They are pretty cool. Hope you enjoy as well.
